This week I made an early morning run up to Point Defiance to meet my good friend Gabe Miller to see if we could catch a Summer King.

We decided that we would fish salmon in the morning and then go after sturgeon in the afternoon.

The Trokar TK2 V got a true test on this fish and it passed with flying colors! It was a wild salmon (not hatchery) so we released it safely

Once again I fished with Friend Mark Sapda and guide Robert Thomas on the Queets river, located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State

As luck would have it, we got our limit of salmon pretty early, so we had plenty of time to go chase Smallmouth.
